Santiago, Trinidad look to bring home World Championship

Syracuse, NY - $150 Million and two no trade clauses later the Syracuse SkyRockets looks to win its fifth NL pennant and third World Championship in six years.

After losing the last two World Series to the Salem Witch Doctors the team felt it needed to improve.

Benny Trinidad, who had played for Syracuse and had filed for Free Agency before the season started decided to resign with the club for $59 Million over 5 seasons and looks to anchor the line-up once again.

The big signing that has all the fans buzzing was that of Ace starter Julio Santiago. The Four time All-Star and Cy Young winner looks to lock down the clubs pitching rotation and help push them over the top for the World Series.

"We are looking forward to beating the Witch Doctors this fall," said an enthusiastic Santiago at his press conference last night.

Santiago has 100 career wins and a 2.56 ERA.
