The Florida FlyTekks made a big splash today by acquiring Ace Starting Pitcher Doc Hunter from the Houston texans.
The deal was the third move the club had made this offseason and second for a front-line starter.
While Florida GM FlyTekk was unavailable for comment and did not immediately return a message left a source close to the clubs front office said that the club was very pleased with this years winter.
Houston received LF Everett Barkley and solid SP prospect James Sheets and unloads Doc's $7.25 million per season contract, looking towards the future.
Florida looks to be in the early hunt for the Pennant race.
